Tng Tai Kok
Mr Tng was the first person to be awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst award in Singapore. He was also a Colombo Plan scholar and among the first batch of officers when the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) was established by the late Dr Goh Keng Swee. He would later be appointed GIC’s Director, Equities before moving on to hold senior executive management positions at Sassion Securities and Straits Lion Asset Management. Notably, Mr Tng was previously Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Paribas Asset Management Asia. He retired in 2004 at the young age of 48.
